About the Role

Our client seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Lead Process Technician to join their advanced manufacturing operations in Newcastle upon Tyne . You will be responsible for the day-to-day technical oversight of the process, ensuring all machinery operates optimally and troubleshooting any deviations. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repair of specialized manufacturing equipment.
• Monitor process parameters in real-time, making adjustments as needed to maintain product specifications.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues with machinery and production processes promptly and effectively.
• Conduct quality checks and ensure adherence to all documented operational procedures and standards.
• Train and mentor junior technicians on operational procedures and safety protocols.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and process performance data.

Requirements

• HND or equivalent qualification in a relevant technical discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing).
• Proven experience as a Process Technician or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with process control systems and data logging.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations within an industrial setting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
