About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic Lead Project Manager to spearhead critical initiatives for their operations in Birmingham . This role is central to overseeing the successful delivery of key projects, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and fostering a collaborative project environment. You will be responsible for guiding project teams, managing stakeholder expectations, and mitigating risks to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership acumen, exceptional organizational skills, and a deep understanding of project lifecycle management, making them a vital asset to our client's growth and success in the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Manage project scope, resources, risks, and stakeholder communications effectively.
• Develop detailed project schedules, work breakdown structures, and resource allocation plans.
• Oversee the work of project teams, providing guidance, motivation, and performance feedback.
• Implement and maintain project governance, quality assurance, and risk management frameworks.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and key stakeholders.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years' experience in managing projects, with at least 3 years in a lead project management capacity.
• Demonstrated success in delivering projects within the manufacturing or logistics sectors.
• Expertise in Agile and Waterfall methodologies and their practical application.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is strongly preferred.
