About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished Lead Project Manager to guide strategic initiatives and mentor a team of project managers. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to shape project delivery frameworks and drive significant business outcomes. You will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of projects, ensuring successful execution, and fostering best practices across the project management function. This role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of project lifecycle management in a distributed team setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Project Managers, providing guidance and support for their project portfolios.
• Develop and implement project management methodologies , standards, and best practices across the organization.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of key strategic projects.
• Manage stakeholder relationships at all levels, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management office (PMO).
• Monitor overall project performance, resource allocation, and risk management for a portfolio of projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
• Extensive experience (8+ years) as a Project Manager , with a significant portion in a lead or senior role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large, complex, and strategic projects.
• Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring project teams, ideally in a remote environment .
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
