About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of research scientists and technicians in daily laboratory operations.
• Design, develop, and execute complex experiments related to gene editing, protein expression, and assay development.
• Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and generate comprehensive reports for internal stakeholders and potential collaborators.
• Stay abreast of the latest scientific advancements and identify new research opportunities and technologies.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively to ensure project milestones are met.
• Contribute to the preparation of grant proposals, scientific publications, and patent applications.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of postdoctoral or industry research experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Proven track record in designing and conducting complex experiments in molecular biology and cell culture.
• Extensive experience with techniques such as CRISPR-Cas9, recombinant DNA technology, and advanced microscopy.
• Excellent understanding of bioinformatics tools and data analysis software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to present complex scientific information clearly.
