Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable software architectures for data science and machine learning applications.
- Collaborate with data scientists to optimize and deploy complex algorithms and models into production systems.
- Develop robust data pipelines and infrastructure to support research and analysis needs.
- Write high-quality, well-tested, and maintainable code in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Mentor and guide junior software engineers and data scientists on best practices in software development.
- Oversee the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of research software and platforms.
- Contribute to technical strategy and roadmap planning for the R&D software team.
Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on data science and machine learning projects.
- Proven experience in leading software development teams and projects.
- Expertise in developing scalable backend systems and distributed computing frameworks.
- Proficiency in Python, along with experience in relevant libraries (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
