Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons for secondary school students, tailoring content to different learning styles and abilities.
• Lead, mentor, and support a team of mathematics teachers, promoting professional development and collaborative best practices.
• Oversee the development and implementation of the mathematics curriculum , ensuring alignment with national standards and school objectives.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• A degree in Mathematics or a closely related field, with a strong academic record.
• Proven experience as a secondary school teacher, with demonstrable leadership capabilities.
• In-depth knowledge of the UK national curriculum for mathematics and current assessment frameworks.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
