Lead/Senior Software Engineer | Growing SaaS Scale Up
We’re working with a high-growth SaaS scale‑up that’s building a modern, cloud‑native platform used by customers globally. As they continue to scale their product and engineering team, they’re looking for a Senior or Lead Software Engineer to play a key role in driving technical quality, delivery, and long‑term architecture.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain full‑stack features using TypeScript, Node.js, and React
- Contribute to system architecture and technical decision‑making
- Lead by example through clean code, code reviews, and best practices
- Collaborate with product teams to turn requirements into scalable solutions
- Improve performance, reliability, and developer experience across the platform
- Mentor engineers and support the growth of the wider team (Lead level)
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with TypeScript across backend and frontend
- Proven experience with Node.js and modern backend development
- Solid experience building complex UIs with React
- Experience designing and working with APIs and distributed systems
- Comfortable working in a scaling SaaS environment
- Strong communication skills and a product‑focused mindset
Nice to Have
- Experience in a tech scale‑up or high‑growth SaaS business
- Exposure to cloud platforms and modern CI/CD practices
- Previous technical leadership or team‑lead experience
