About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Lead Smart Contract Developer to join their dynamic team in Manchester . You will lead the development and deployment of secure and efficient smart contracts, driving innovation in our crypto and blockchain initiatives. This role requires a deep technical understanding of blockchain protocols and a proven track record in building robust decentralized applications. You will mentor junior developers, contribute to architectural decisions, and ensure the highest standards of code quality and security for our blockchain-based products.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of high-quality smart contracts .
• Mentor and guide a team of smart contract developers, fostering a culture of excellence.
• Define best practices for smart contract development, security, and auditing.
• Collaborate with product owners to translate business requirements into technical solutions for decentralized applications.
• Conduct rigorous security audits and penetration testing for all deployed contracts.
• Contribute to the overall blockchain architecture and strategy of the company.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in smart contract development, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior capacity.
• Expertise in Solidity and experience with platforms like Ethereum, BSC, or Polygon.
• Strong understanding of blockchain principles, token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721), and cryptography.
• Proven experience in smart contract security and vulnerability analysis.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Familiarity with development tools such as Hardhat, Truffle, and Ganache.
