About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Smart Contract Engineer to spearhead their smart contract development initiatives in Milton Keynes . You will lead a team of talented engineers, guiding them in the design, development, and deployment of secure and efficient smart contracts for various blockchain platforms. This leadership role requires not only exceptional technical expertise but also the ability to mentor, collaborate, and drive innovation within the blockchain space. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and functionality of our decentralized applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and auditing of secure smart contracts for various blockchain protocols.
- Mentor and guide a team of smart contract developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
- Establish and enforce best practices for smart contract development, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define requirements and technical specifications.
- Oversee the implementation and integration of smart contracts into larger DApp ecosystems.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the company's blockchain technology roadmap.
Requirements
- Significant professional experience in smart contract development , with a proven track record of leading projects.
- Expertise in Solidity and proficiency with frameworks like Hardhat or Truffle.
- Deep understanding of blockchain security principles and common vulnerabilities in smart contracts.
- Experience with DeFi protocols and token standards (e.g., ERC-20, ERC-721).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to architect complex decentralized systems.
