Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Lead Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise software solutions. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership to development teams, drive architecture and design decisions, mentor engineers, and ensure successful execution of software projects aligned with business goals. The candidate should possess strong expertise in modern software development technologies, Agile methodologies, system design, and leadership capabilities while maintaining high standards for code quality, scalability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Lead and mentor software engineering teams across multiple projects
• Drive technical architecture, design, and implementation decisions
• Review and approve technical solutions, code quality, and development standards
• Provide guidance on best practices, design patterns, scalability, and performance optimization
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior and senior developers
• Identify technical risks and provide mitigation strategies

Development & Delivery

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications and services
• Lead development of scalable APIs, backend services, and front-end applications
• Ensure high-quality, maintainable, and secure code delivery
• Troubleshoot complex production and application issues
• Participate in hands‑on development activities when required
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, and stakeholders
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, retrospectives, and release planning
• Track development progress and ensure timely delivery of milestones
• Support prioritization of technical debt, enhancements, and production fixes
• Ensure adherence to SDLC, release management, and change management processes

Architecture & Innovation

• Contribute to system architecture and technology roadmap planning
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks
• Drive modernization initiatives and process improvements
• Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, maintainable, and secure
