About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Software Engineer to guide their software development efforts in Norwich . Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
• Architect, design, and implement robust, scalable, and high-performance software systems.
• Collaborate with product management and stakeholders to define technical strategies and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, well-tested, and maintainable code through rigorous code reviews and adherence to best practices.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior technical role.
• Proven experience in designing and building scalable backend systems or complex applications.
• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, Go) and associated frameworks.
• Experience with database technologies (SQL and/or NoSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative mindset.
