About The Role

An exciting opportunity to become the technical leader within a growing Salesforce-native SaaS business that's entering its next phase of engineering maturity. Following the appointment of a new Director of Product Engineering, the business is investing heavily in its product and engineering function. This is a genuine opportunity to help shape engineering standards, influence architecture, accelerate AI adoption and play a major role in the future direction of a modern Salesforce-native product.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the engineering team from a technical perspective whilst remaining hands-on.
• Drive architecture, engineering standards and code quality.
• Work closely with Product to balance technical excellence with commercial delivery.
• Champion AI-assisted software development and modern engineering practices.
• Improve SDLC, CI/CD and engineering tooling.
• Mentor and coach engineers through technical leadership rather than line management.
• Help shape the future direction of a rapidly evolving Salesforce-native platform.

What We're Looking For

• Senior / Lead Software Engineer, Technical Architect or Engineering Team Lead background.
• Experience working within a SaaS or Salesforce ISV / AppExchange product environment is nice to have.
• Comfortable influencing engineering decisions.
• Passion for building scalable products and continuously improving engineering practices.
• Commercial mindset with an appreciation for product priorities and customer outcomes.
• Interest in AI-assisted development and engineering productivity.
