You will lead a team of specialists, define best practices for software deployment, and work closely with development and customer success teams to ensure seamless transitions from development to production environments. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software installation specialists, providing technical guidance and support.
• Develop and refine standardized procedures and best practices for software installation, configuration, and deployment.
• Oversee the successful installation and integration of software solutions across diverse client infrastructures, including cloud and on-premise environments.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex installation-related issues.
• Manage deployment schedules, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery of software solutions.
• Act as a key technical point of contact for clients during the installation and post-installation phases.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software installation, deployment, or systems integration, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Proven ability to install and configure a variety of software applications, including enterprise-level solutions, databases, and middleware.
• Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux), scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash), and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is highly desirable.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to manage remote teams effectively.
• This is a remote position, requiring self-discipline and effective time management for working from home in the Cambridge area or elsewhere.
