Lead Solutions Architect - Telecoms

About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary and experienced Lead Solutions Architect to join their entirely remote team, focusing on innovative solutions within the telecoms industry. As a key technical leader, you will be responsible for designing high-level, end-to-end technical solutions that address complex business challenges for our clients. You will engage directly with clients and internal stakeholders, translating requirements into robust architectural blueprints and guiding the development process. This role is critical for driving technological advancements and ensuring the strategic alignment of solutions with business objectives in a dynamic, remote -first setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and document comprehensive architectural designs for complex telecoms solutions , encompassing network, cloud, and application layers.
• Collaborate with sales, product management, and engineering teams to define and validate solution feasibility and scope.
• Provide expert technical guidance and oversight throughout the project lifecycle, from initial design to implementation and deployment.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and methodologies to enhance our client's service offerings and operational efficiency.
• Lead technical discussions, present solutions to stakeholders, and act as a trusted advisor in the telecoms domain.
• Mentor and guide other architects and engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation within the remote team.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent extensive experience.
• 10+ years of experience in designing and implementing large-scale, mission-critical solutions, with a significant portion in the telecoms sector.
• Deep understanding of network architectures, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), virtualization, and containerization technologies.
• Proven experience in pre-sales technical consulting and client-facing roles.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities, crucial for a remote role.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
