Key Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design and analysis of new bridges and the assessment/refurbishment of existing ones.
• Develop detailed design calculations, drawings, and specifications for bridge structures.
• Oversee the technical aspects of bridge construction, ensuring compliance with design and safety standards.
• Manage project teams and collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide expert technical advice and mentorship on bridge engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering with a specialization in bridges.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in bridge engineering design and project delivery.
• Expert knowledge of bridge design codes (e.g., Eurocodes, DMRB) and relevant software (e.g., MIDAS Civil, LUSAS Bridge).
• Proven experience in leading design teams and managing complex infrastructure projects.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
