Key Responsibilities
- Lead the structural design process for a range of building and infrastructure projects, ensuring technical accuracy and innovation.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively to ensure profitable and timely delivery.
- Perform complex structural analysis and design calculations for various materials, including steel, concrete, and timber.
- Review and approve design drawings, specifications, and calculations prepared by the team.
- Collaborate closely with architects, clients, and construction teams to resolve design issues and ensure project success.
- Champion best practices in structural engineering, safety, and quality assurance within the team.
Requirements
- Degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a structural specialization.
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with a relevant professional institution.
- At least 10 years of experience in structural engineering, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
- Expertise in structural design software (e.g., STAAD Pro, Tekla Structural Designer) and relevant British Standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills.
