Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and analysis of structural elements for diverse construction projects, ensuring compliance with national and international standards.
• Oversee and mentor a team of structural engineers, providing technical guidance, reviewing calculations, and managing project workloads.
• Collaborate closely with architects, project managers, and other disciplines to develop integrated and efficient structural solutions.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, resolve design queries, and ensure adherence to structural plans.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, specifications, and design documentation for project submissions and approvals.
• Champion the adoption of new design technologies and methodologies to enhance project delivery and efficiency.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a closely related field.
• Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or equivalent professional accreditation.
• A minimum of 7 years of post-graduate experience in structural engineering design, with experience in leading design teams.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, ETABS, Robot Structural Analysis) and CAD tools.
• Strong understanding of building codes, Eurocodes, and relevant British Standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
