About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly skilled Lead Telecom Technician to take charge of technical operations in Manchester . This leadership position requires a hands-on approach to managing a team of technicians, overseeing installations, repairs, and maintenance of telecommunications equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of service delivery, acting as the primary technical point of contact for complex issues. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of telecom technicians, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.

Requirements

• Significant experience in telecommunications installation and maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Expertise in fibre optic splicing, termination, and testing techniques.
• Proficiency with various telecommunication testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
• Strong understanding of network topologies and communication protocols.
