About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Telecoms Software Developer to spearhead their software development efforts. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute from anywhere within the UK. You will be responsible for leading a team of developers, architecting innovative software solutions for the telecommunications industry, and driving the technical vision for new product development. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, high-performance software solutions for telecoms applications .
- Mentor and guide a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
- Define and implement software development best practices, including coding standards, testing methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements
- Extensive experience (7+ years) in software development, with a significant focus on telecommunications or related high-availability systems.
- Proven experience leading software development teams and managing project lifecycles.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Java, Python, or Go.
- Deep understanding of network protocols (e.g., SIP, TCP/IP, HTTP) and distributed systems.
- Experience with cloud-native architectures, microservices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
