Lead UI/UX Designer

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and creative Lead UI/UX Designer to shape the user experience of their interactive products in Derby . This leadership role involves overseeing the design process from conception to implementation, ensuring intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing user interfaces. You will guide a team of designers, collaborate with product managers and developers, and advocate for user-centered design principles. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of intuitive and engaging user interfaces and user experiences across multiple platforms.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, mockups, and high-fidelity designs for digital products.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into effective design solutions.
• Mentor and guide a team of UI/UX designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture.
• Ensure design consistency and adherence to brand guidelines throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in UI/UX design , with a significant portion in a lead or senior role.
• Proven track record of delivering successful user-centered design solutions for digital products.
• Expertise in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
• Strong understanding of user research methodologies, interaction design, and information architecture.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience working within the entertainment or technology sector is highly desirable.
