About the Role
Our client is looking for an insightful and experienced Lead UX Researcher to join their growing product team in Norwich . This role is vital in understanding user needs, behaviors, and motivations to inform product design and development decisions. You will be responsible for planning, conducting, and analyzing a variety of qualitative and quantitative research studies to uncover user insights. The ideal candidate is passionate about user advocacy, skilled in a range of research methodologies, and adept at translating research findings into actionable recommendations that drive product innovation and enhance user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and execute a range of user research studies, including user interviews, usability testing, surveys, and ethnographic research.
- Analyze research data to identify key user insights, pain points, and opportunities for product improvement.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and engineers to integrate user feedback into the product development lifecycle.
- Communicate research findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to the development of a strong user-centered design culture.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX research or a related field, with a strong portfolio demonstrating research projects.
- Proficiency in a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and tools.
- Experience translating research findings into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Experience working in an agile development environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
