Lead UX Researcher

About the Role

Our client is seeking an insightful and experienced Lead UX Researcher to join their product development team in a fully remote capacity. This critical role will involve leading research initiatives to understand user behaviors, needs, and motivations, translating these insights into actionable recommendations that shape product strategy and design. You will work closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and engineers to ensure our digital products are user-centered, intuitive, and meet the evolving needs of our customer base. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and conduct a variety of user research studies, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and ethnographic research.
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative research data to identify key user insights, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
• Translate research findings into compelling reports, presentations, and actionable recommendations for design and product teams.
• Advocate for the user throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring their needs are at the forefront of decision-making.
• Mentor and guide junior researchers, fostering a collaborative and user-focused research practice.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to define research questions and project goals.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in UX research, with a proven track record of impacting product design.
• Extensive experience with a range of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and the product development lifecycle.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly and concisely.
• Proficiency with research tools and platforms (e.g., UserTesting.com, Optimal Workshop, survey tools).
• Ability to work autonomously and effectively manage research projects in a remote setting.
