Lead UX/UI Designer - Digital Media

About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished Lead UX/UI Designer to guide the user experience and interface design for their digital media platforms, operating in a fully remote capacity. This senior position involves leading design strategy, mentoring a team of designers, and ensuring that our digital products offer intuitive, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing experiences for a global audience. You will play a key role in defining user journeys, designing interfaces, and advocating for user-centered design principles across the organization. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of user-centric UX/UI strategies for web and mobile digital media platforms.
• Mentor and manage a team of UX/UI designers, providing direction, feedback, and fostering professional growth.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups for complex applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into exceptional user experiences.
• Establish and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure brand consistency and efficient design workflows.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in UX/UI design, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior role, preferably in digital media or Arts & Entertainment .
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or InVision.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
• Demonstrated experience in leading design projects from concept to launch.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale effectively.
• Experience working within agile development environments and collaborating with remote teams.
