Lead UX/UI Designer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a creative and experienced Lead UX/UI Designer to join their product development team in Brighton . This role is instrumental in shaping the user experience and visual design of our client's digital products. You will lead the design process from concept to execution, ensuring our products are intuitive, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing. Working collaboratively with product managers, developers, and researchers, you will advocate for the user and drive design innovation. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design of user interfaces and user experiences for web and mobile applications.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and A/B testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups.
• Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI kits to ensure consistency across products.
• Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture.
• Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in user-centered design principles and a wide range of design projects.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or InVision.
• Experience with conducting user research and usability testing.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
