Lead UX/UI Designer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and strategic Lead UX/UI Designer to shape the user experience of their digital products in Reading . This leadership role involves guiding a team of designers, defining design strategies, and ensuring the creation of intuitive, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing interfaces. You will be responsible for the end-to-end design process, from user research and wireframing to high-fidelity prototyping and visual design, contributing to the company's product success in Berkshire.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of UX/UI designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and market analysis to identify user needs and insights.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive design systems and style guides.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into exceptional user experiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing digital product design.
• Proven experience in leading design projects and managing design teams.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and best practices.
