About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Lead UX/UI Designer to spearhead their digital product design efforts, operating in a fully remote capacity. You will be responsible for defining the user experience and interface design for our suite of applications, ensuring they are intuitive, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on design execution, and leadership to guide a talented team towards creating exceptional digital products that meet user needs and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design process for web and mobile applications, from user research and wireframing to high-fidelity prototyping and visual design.
- Develop and iterate on user flows, personas, and journey maps to deeply understand user needs and pain points.
- Create intuitive, user-centered, and visually appealing interfaces, ensuring consistency across all products.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into seamless user experiences.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a culture of design excellence and innovation within the remote team.
- Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to inform design decisions and improvements.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a proven track record of shipping successful digital products.
- Extensive experience with user research methodologies, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
- Expert proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and visual design best practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, crucial for a remote environment.
- Demonstrated experience in leading design projects or teams.
