An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to step into a Lead Veterinary Surgeon position within a well-established small animal practice in Berkshire . This role offers the perfect balance of clinical autonomy, leadership and ongoing support, making it ideal for someone looking to progress their career.
The Role
- Permanent, full-time position
- Lead and mentor a friendly, established clinical team
- Drive clinical standards and help shape the future of the practice
- Work closely with the Practice Manager to support practice growth
- 1 in 6 weekends at a nearby 24-hour hospital
- Shared on-call rota
- Excellent opportunity to broaden clinical experience through access to advanced cases

About You
You'll be an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon who:
- Is confident with routine consultations and surgery
- Enjoys mentoring and supporting colleagues
- Is looking to step into (or continue within) a leadership role
- Values high clinical standards and excellent client care
- Holds MRCVS registration
