Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement stunning visual effects (explosions, magic, environmental effects) for games.
- Develop and refine VFX pipelines, tools, and workflows for optimal efficiency.
- Lead and mentor a remote team of VFX artists, providing creative direction and technical support.
- Collaborate with art directors and engineers to achieve desired visual targets and performance budgets.
- Ensure the quality and consistency of all VFX assets throughout the development process.
Requirements
- Extensive professional experience as a VFX Artist , with a significant portfolio demonstrating leadership and impactful effects.
- Proficiency in VFX creation software (e.g., Houdini, Maya, After Effects) and game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity).
- Strong understanding of particle systems, shaders, simulation, and real-time rendering techniques.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team, fostering creativity and collaboration.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills for remote teamwork.
