Lead Web Designer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Lead Web Designer to guide their online presence and digital product development, working remotely. You will take ownership of the user experience and visual design of our websites and digital platforms, ensuring they are not only aesthetically striking but also highly functional and user-friendly. This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate complex requirements into intuitive interfaces and lead a team or individual contributors to execute on these designs. You will collaborate closely with development teams, product managers, and marketing to deliver best-in-class digital experiences that resonate with our global audience, championing design excellence in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire web design process, from conceptualization and wireframing to visual design and final implementation.
• Develop and maintain high-quality website designs that align with brand guidelines and user experience best practices.
• Lead design reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior designers if applicable.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure technical feasibility and pixel-perfect execution of designs.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and drive design improvements.
• Create and manage design systems, style guides, and asset libraries to ensure consistency and efficiency.

Requirements

• Significant professional experience as a Web Designer , with a proven track record of designing successful, user-centered websites and digital products.
• Expertise in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles, with the ability to communicate effectively with developers.
• Demonstrated experience in leading design projects and mentoring team members.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for creating intuitive user experiences.
• A strong portfolio showcasing innovative web design solutions and a keen eye for detail.
