Lean Manufacturing Specialist - Remote Facilitation

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lean Manufacturing Specialist to join their organization on a fully remote basis, supporting their widespread manufacturing operations across the UK . This role is focused on driving the implementation and continuous improvement of Lean principles, such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Just-In-Time methodologies, to optimize production processes, reduce waste, and enhance overall efficiency. You will act as a facilitator and coach, working with diverse teams through digital platforms to foster a culture of operational excellence. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate Lean and Six Sigma projects to identify and eliminate waste in manufacturing processes.
• Coach and mentor teams on Lean principles, tools, and techniques, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement standard work, value stream maps, and other Lean tools.
• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and track project progress.
• Conduct remote assessments of manufacturing processes and provide actionable recommendations.
• Champion Lean initiatives and ensure their long-term sustainability across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience implementing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Certified Lean Professional or Six Sigma Black Belt/Master Black Belt preferred.
• Proven track record of successfully leading complex improvement projects.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and communication skills, adapted for a remote environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
