Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalised support to individuals with learning disabilities in their daily lives.
• Assist clients with personal care, domestic tasks, and community access.
• Support clients in developing life skills, promoting independence and self-advocacy.
• Facilitate social and recreational activities to enhance client well-being and inclusion.
• Maintain accurate records of support provided and report any concerns to management.
• Collaborate with families, advocates, and other professionals to ensure holistic care.

Requirements

• Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities is highly desirable.
• A positive attitude, patience, and strong communication skills.
• Understanding of person-centred care principles.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
• Willingness to undertake training and develop new skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including some evenings and weekends, as part of a hybrid arrangement.
