Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalised support to individuals with learning disabilities in their daily routines.
• Assist clients with personal care, mobility, medication management, and domestic tasks.
• Encourage and facilitate clients' participation in community activities, hobbies, and social events.
• Support clients in developing life skills and achieving personal goals.
• Work collaboratively with families, carers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
• Promote independence, dignity, and choice for all clients.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records and report any concerns promptly.

Requirements

• Experience in learning disability support or a similar care role.
• Understanding of the needs and challenges faced by individuals with learning disabilities.
• Excellent communication, patience, and empathy skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and provide person-centred care.
