Learning Support Assistant - Pimlico
Location: Pimlico, South West London
Pay: £100-£115 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-Time | October Start | Long-Term
Learning Support Assistant
Milk Education are working with a welcoming primary school in Pimlico who are looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their classroom team from October.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting children with their learning and wants to be actively involved in the day-to-day classroom environment.
The Role
- Support pupils during whole-class teaching and independent learning.
- Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce classroom learning.
- Support English, Maths, reading and writing activities.
- Assist pupils with completing classroom tasks.
- Help prepare and organise learning resources.
- Encourage positive behaviour and good classroom routines.
- Support pupils to develop confidence and independence.
- Work closely with the class teacher and wider school team.
About You
- Previous experience working with children is desirable.
- Primary school or classroom experience would be advantageous.
- Caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
- Confident supporting individuals and groups of pupils.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and proactive.
- Passionate about helping children succeed.
