We are currently looking for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in the Tonbridge area .

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced LSA, Teaching Assistant or someone looking to build a career in education. You will play an important role in supporting students both academically and pastorally, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.

The Role

• Supporting students in the classroom across a range of subjects
• Providing one-to-one and small-group support where required
• Helping students remain focused and engaged with their learning
• Supporting students with additional learning needs
• Working closely with teachers and the wider support team
• Encouraging positive behaviour and developing students' confidence and independence
• Helping to create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
• Experience supporting students with SEND would be an advantage
• Patient, approachable and confident in building positive relationships
• Able to work effectively as part of a wider school team
• Reliable, professional and adaptable
• Passionate about supporting young people and helping them succeed

Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, Cover Supervisors and graduates with relevant experience are all encouraged to apply.
