Salary: £14.25 to £15.50 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist educational setting in the BA11 area that provides a person-centred, bespoke approach for students with autism and complex needs. The school promotes a calm, predictable and nurturing environment where respect, teamwork, pride, resilience and courage are at the heart of everything they do.
The school is looking to appoint a full-time BA11 Learning Support Assistant on a temporary basis from September. The successful BA11 Learning Support Assistant will work closely with students with autism and complex needs, providing tailored classroom support, encouraging independence and helping to create a positive learning environment where every student can thrive.
The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:
- Experience supporting children or young people with autism and/or complex needs
- A caring, patient and resilient approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to get stuck in
- A commitment to promoting a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
