Learning Support Practitioner (Specialism Behaviour) - Hanbury Primary

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated, experienced and highly skilled LSP to join our strong Early Years department. The role will require a high level of experience of working with children within Early Years, including those with complex additional needs. They would also bring a wealth of experience of supporting and developing children’s communication and language skills. The successful candidate would be joining a positive, supportive and welcoming team. We have high expectations of both our children and our staff.

We are looking for a learning support practitioner who is:

• passionate about Early Years
• highly experienced working with Early Years children
• highly motivated, enthusiastic and want to make a difference everyday
• patient, but firm with rules and boundaries
• able to develop positive relationships with our children and their families
• able to offer high quality support and does everything possible to develop children’s communication skills
• able to work as a team and be flexible to meet the needs of the children and the school.
• able to work with outside agencies and act on advice given

Hanbury Primary School is committed to the welfare and safeguarding of all our children. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and is eligible for an enhanced DBS check including a Children's Barring List Check.
