TEACHINGASSISTANT / LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANTREQUIRED ona FIXED TERM CONTRACT from ASAP to July 2027
31.25 HOURS PER WEEK INTERM TIME ONLY (39 weeks per year) 8.35am - 3:20pm
Salary Range ME4 point5 (£29,436 Full Time Equivalent)

Weare looking for someone who can:
- Supportchildren with their learning, both in the classroom and in small groups
- Workwith children with additional needs, who find it challenging to access thecurriculum
Thesuccessful candidate will be working to support children, across a year group,in their classrooms, and also delivering interventions to small groups ofchildren. They will also be working closely with individual children to supporttheir educational needs and achieve the outcomes set out in their Education,Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
Youmust be patient and caring, and be a good team player. Previous experience of working with childrenwith additional educational needs is desirable, but training and support will beavailable - applicants will need to use their initiative and adapt quickly and intuitivelyto the needs of the children as well as a have a willingness to learn andreceive direction from others.
Thispost may be of particular interest to graduates considering a career inteaching and looking to gain experience.
DesirableQualifications: -
Particularinterest and enthusiasm for working with children and supporting learning
Experienceof caring for or working with primary aged children
Excellentliteracy and numeracy skills in English & Maths
