About the Role

Our client, a specialist surveying firm, is looking for a dedicated Leasehold Enfranchisement Surveyor to join their dynamic team in Belfast . This niche role focuses on providing expert advice and services related to leasehold property law, including lease extensions, collective enfranchisement, and statutory valuations. You will work with a variety of clients, including leaseholders, freeholders, and management companies, navigating complex legal and valuation frameworks. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct valuations and provide advice on lease extensions and collective enfranchisement claims.
• Prepare detailed reports and schedules for enfranchisement cases.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing parties and their surveyors.
• Represent clients in First-Tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) cases when necessary.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the Leasehold Reform Acts and relevant case law.
• Manage a caseload of enfranchisement matters efficiently and professionally.

Requirements

• Qualified Surveyor (MRICS or FRICS) with experience in leasehold enfranchisement.
• In-depth knowledge of leasehold property law and valuation principles.
• Experience in conducting valuations for statutory lease extensions and collective enfranchisement.
• Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Familiarity with the property market in Belfast and Northern Ireland .
