About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join their dynamic team in Edinburgh . This hybrid role involves engaging with prospective tenants, showcasing available properties, and guiding them through the leasing process. You will play a vital role in achieving occupancy targets by building strong relationships and providing exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for real estate , excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment, with the flexibility to work both on-site and remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to inquiries from prospective tenants via phone, email, and in-person visits.
• Conduct property tours, highlighting features and benefits to potential renters.
• Qualify prospective tenants, process applications, and verify references and background checks.
• Negotiate lease terms and prepare lease agreements accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge about the properties, local market, and competitor offerings.
• Collaborate with the property management team to ensure a seamless move-in process for new tenants and address any post-lease concerns.

Requirements

• Previous experience in leasing , sales, or customer service, preferably within the real estate sector.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
• Proficiency in CRM software and standard office applications.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends, as required.
• Familiarity with the Edinburgh rental market is advantageous.
