Lecturer in Health & Social Care

Are you an experienced Health Care Teacher / Lecturer or Health & Social Care professional looking to join a supportive  team and deliver across T Level Health, Level 2 BTEC Health & Social Care and Level 3 Access to HE Health programmes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in Health or Social Care who is passionate about supporting learners and helping them develop the knowledge, skills and confidence they need for their future careers. No previous experience delivering T Levels is required, although knowledge of the programme would be advantageous.

Salary: Up to £39,714.22 FTE, pro rata depending on skills and experience alongside an attractive benefits package and generous holiday entitlement.

Hours: 22.2 hours per week (3 days)

This role is part time and based at a campus location within Surrey with good transport links from surrounding areas. Easily accessible from Woking, Ashford, Weybridge, Guildford, Walton-on-Thames, Esher, Epsom, Staines-upon-Thames and the wider Surrey area.  You'll be joining a successful and well-respected FE education provider in Surrey as a Health and Social Care specialist, becoming part of a dedicated and friendly teaching team.

Deliver engaging teaching across T Level Health, Level 2 BTEC Health & Social Care and Level 3 Access to HE Health. Use your knowledge and experience to bring learning to life. Support, motivate and inspire learners to achieve their qualifications and career goals. Contribute to an inclusive, positive and supportive learning environment. Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a high-quality learner experience.

About you.....

Degree, HND or relevant professional qualification in Health, Social Care or a related area. Knowledge or experience within Health or Social Care. Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills. A caring, supportive and learner-focused approach. Strong IT skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
