About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Legal Advisor to join their team in Stoke-on-Trent . This role is integral to providing comprehensive legal support and guidance across various departments, ensuring adherence to legal standards and mitigating risks. You will handle a broad spectrum of legal matters, from advising on commercial contracts to managing compliance issues. Key Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements and supplier contracts.
• Provide legal advice on employment law matters, company policies, and HR-related issues.
• Assist with litigation matters and manage external legal counsel as required.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry regulations.
• Conduct legal research and prepare reports on various legal topics.
• Support the wider business with day-to-day legal queries and operational matters.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with a current UK practising certificate, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years' relevant legal experience, preferably with exposure to commercial and employment law.
• Strong understanding of contract law and corporate governance principles.
• Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
• Proactive approach and a commitment to delivering practical legal solutions.
