About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including supplier agreements, customer contracts, and partnership arrangements.
• Advise business stakeholders on contractual rights, obligations, and potential risks.
• Develop and maintain standard contract templates and playbooks to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Manage contract lifecycle, from initiation and negotiation to execution and renewal.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations pertaining to commercial transactions.
• Provide training to non-legal staff on key contractual principles and best practices.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor or barrister with a minimum of 4 years' experience, with a strong focus on commercial contract law.
• Proven expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Solid understanding of UK contract law and commercial practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with internal stakeholders.
• Experience in managing multiple contracts simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
