Legal Counsel - Commercial Litigation

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and astute Legal Counsel specializing in Commercial Litigation to join their fully remote legal team. This role is critical for managing and resolving disputes, protecting the company's interests, and advising on litigation risk. You will work collaboratively with internal teams and external counsel to navigate complex legal challenges. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of commercial litigation from initiation to resolution.
• Develop and implement effective litigation strategies in alignment with business objectives.
• Conduct legal research, prepare pleadings, and manage discovery processes.
• Liaise with external litigation counsel, providing clear instructions and oversight.
• Advise business stakeholders on legal risks and potential dispute outcomes.
• Represent the company in negotiations, mediations, and arbitrations as required.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with a minimum of 6 years' experience in commercial litigation.
• Proven expertise in handling a wide range of commercial disputes, including contractual and intellectual property matters.
• Strong analytical, strategic planning, and advocacy skills.
• Excellent understanding of civil procedure rules and litigation best practices.
• Ability to manage caseloads independently and communicate effectively in a remote setting.
