Legal Counsel - Remote Position

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide array of commercial contracts, including client agreements, supplier contracts, and NDAs.
• Provide timely and actionable legal advice on matters concerning commercial law, employment law, and intellectual property.
• Manage and oversee any ongoing litigation or dispute resolution processes.
• Develop and implement internal legal policies and compliance training programs.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders across different departments to ensure legal alignment.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice as a Solicitor or Barrister in England and Wales, with an active practising certificate.
• A minimum of 4 years' post-qualification experience, ideally with exposure to in-house legal environments or significant corporate/commercial practice.
• Comprehensive knowledge of relevant UK laws and regulations affecting businesses.
• Proven ability to manage complex legal tasks independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Tech-savvy with proficiency in virtual collaboration tools and legal databases.
