About the Role

Our client is seeking a proficient Legal Counsel to join their established legal department based in Norwich . This is an office-based role where you will provide essential legal support and advice across the organisation's operations. You will be involved in a variety of legal matters, contributing to risk management and strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive legal advice on commercial contracts, employment law, and regulatory compliance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a range of agreements and legal documents.
• Manage litigation and dispute resolution cases, working with external counsel when required.
• Advise on corporate governance and ensure adherence to all statutory requirements.
• Conduct legal research and provide clear, concise advice to business stakeholders.
• Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to mitigate risks.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with at least 4 years of post-qualification experience.
• Strong understanding of commercial law, contract law, and employment law.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and drafting skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team and manage a diverse workload.
• High level of professional integrity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work from the office based in Norwich on a full-time basis.
