Legal Counsel

About the Role

Our client is looking for a proactive and adaptable Legal Counsel to join their expanding team, operating with a high degree of flexibility through a remote-first approach. This role is critical for providing comprehensive legal support to the business, advising on a wide range of commercial and contractual matters. You will play a key part in ensuring legal compliance and mitigating risk across all operations. Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, service agreements, and partnership arrangements.
• Provide legal advice on data protection, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR).
• Support the business on employment law matters and internal policy development.
• Manage and advise on intellectual property rights and licensing agreements.
• Assist with dispute resolution and liaise with external legal counsel when required.

Requirements

• A qualified Solicitor or Barrister with a minimum of 4 years' post-qualification experience in commercial or corporate law .
• Strong understanding of contract law, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably with some exposure to technology or e-commerce.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and drafting skills.
• Ability to work effectively and independently in a remote working setting.
