About the Role
Our client is seeking an organized and proactive Leisure Centre Administrator to provide essential support at their busy facility in Glasgow . This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations, managing member inquiries, and supporting the centre's management team. You will be the first point of contact for many visitors and members, playing a key role in delivering a positive experience and maintaining high operational standards within the Glasgow facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage reception duties, including greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and responding to emails promptly.
- Handle membership inquiries, registrations, and renewals, ensuring accurate data entry.
- Process payments for memberships, classes, and facility bookings.
- Assist with the scheduling of classes, activities, and staff rotas.
- Maintain facility records, update databases, and prepare routine reports for management.
- Provide administrative support to the Centre Manager and other team members as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role, preferably within the leisure or hospitality sector.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with CRM or booking systems.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when necessary in Glasgow .
