About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Leisure Centre Manager to oversee the daily operations of a popular sports and fitness facility in Aberdeen . You will be responsible for ensuring a high-quality experience for all members and visitors, managing staff, and driving commercial success for the centre. This is a key leadership role within the community, contributing to the health and well-being of residents by providing excellent recreational facilities and programmes, fostering a welcoming and energetic environment for staff and patrons alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the leisure centre's operations, including staffing, programming, maintenance, and customer service.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to increase membership, revenue, and facility utilization.
• Recruit, train, and manage a diverse team of fitness instructors, reception staff, and maintenance personnel.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations, maintaining a safe environment for all users.
• Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control measures to achieve profitability targets.
• Organise and promote community events, sports tournaments, and fitness classes to enhance member engagement.

Requirements

• Proven experience in managing leisure facilities, sports clubs, or similar venues.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrable ability in budget management, financial planning, and staff supervision.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations within the leisure industry.
• A passion for sports, fitness, and community engagement.
