About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Leisure Centre Manager to oversee operations at their facility in Milton Keynes . This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the centre, managing staff, budgets, and all operational aspects to deliver exceptional service to members and visitors. You will be responsible for driving membership growth, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all users, playing a key role in community engagement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all day-to-day operations of the leisure centre, including staffing, scheduling, and facility maintenance.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase membership numbers and revenue streams.
• Oversee budget management, financial reporting, and cost control measures.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of centre staff, fostering a positive and productive work culture.
• Enhance customer satisfaction through high-quality service delivery and effective complaint resolution.

Requirements

• Proven experience in managing leisure facilities or a similar hospitality/customer-facing environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations within the leisure industry.
