About the Role

Our client seeks a dynamic and results-oriented Leisure Centre Manager to lead operations at their flagship facility in Milton Keynes . This senior position requires a proactive leader capable of managing all aspects of the centre, including staff, budgets, programming, and customer service, to ensure a vibrant and successful community hub. You will be responsible for driving membership growth, enhancing user experience, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational efficiency across all departments, from fitness suites to swimming pools.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the leisure centre, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all users.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to increase membership numbers and revenue streams.
• Manage, motivate, and develop a diverse team of centre staff, including fitness instructors and support personnel.
• Control budgets, manage financial performance, and report on key performance indicators.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including emergency procedures and risk assessments.
• Develop and deliver engaging fitness and recreational programs to meet community needs.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a management role within the leisure or fitness industry.
• Demonstrated success in driving membership sales and customer retention.
• Strong understanding of leisure centre operations, facility management, and health and safety protocols.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Relevant management or sports science qualifications are advantageous.
